Breaking news "Headgardener gets back on bike"

Today I got back on my bike for the first time since injuring myself during an epileptic fit just over a week ago. I didn't go to far only down into the village and back but had no problems so looking forward to making longer journeys soon. Don't think I am up to doing the IOW Radonnnee though which I was looking forward to doing:sad:.

Glad you're well enough to get back on the bike again.

Take things slowly and hopefully you'll be as well as possible! ;)

Do you have a history of epilepsy or was it a one-off?

A long history since I was about eight which is why I enjoy riding my bike as it means I can get out and about without having to rely on someone else.
P.S. Thanks for your concern.

I understand your wish for independence, but it would/could be very useful if you had a mate (or escort) who could help you IF you had an attack. Otherwise he/she would just be an 'ordinary' cycling mate.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Hope you are well , my elder sister had so many fits in her teens she ended up in a home as she did some permanent damage , when i visit she does not know who i am ;)
