Anyone know of a profile for the Bristol & Bath Railway Path? I know it is generally flat as a (insert own noun) but would be interested in seeing a more detailed longitudinal section.

The profile looks a bit like this

----------------------------------------------^-------------------------------------------------------There is a small sign near the Bristol end which shows a 1:70 gradient for 2 miles until it levels out! There is a slight hill now as the path goes over the ringroad, otherwise it is like a pancake!

more like this lol. its slightly uphill out of bristol (until you hit greenbank) then it is flat most of the way

I was informed by a non cycling friend that it definitely has a hill on it - she got off to walk up it and instantly got spotted by someone else that she knew  (she had cycled about 18 miles by that point and was feeling very pleased with herself, if not all parts of her anatomy).

After 24 years of using bits of it, I've recently started consciously using it as a "green gym" and appreciate the slight gradients over several miles of it when riding back from Bath to Bristol (I trundle down fairly gently as a warm-up) I find there's "just enough" of an uphill slope in some sections to get my leg muscles "interested".

No actual hills though. Google tells me the gradient is hardly ever much more than 5 percent.
