I think the term is formerly a professional driver. I fail to see what is so scary. He sought employment based upon skills he had acquired. He then completed a crime and was sacked. Perhaps you would prefer UK adopted the ethics displayed in the film 'Minority Report' - now that is scary.

I thought the company's response/statement was good.

I do remember reading the original incident in the paper or on a website - was it on the Bristol Traffic site when it happened? So it is good to hear the outcome, I'd forgotten about the incident.
