the really annoying thing is you cant seem to watch this video anywhere without tons of flipping adverts or pop ups or more ads, just show me the damn footage !!!
all Vine had to do was say sorry mate, didnt look properly, thats on me, own it, and move on and actually give the guy some space in the cycle lane because I think thats where he wants to be, possibly his route goes left at some point and Vines goes straight on and thats why theyre crossing the streams (never cross the streams guys) but he doesnt want to get sat behind Vine again on his inside (which is the only room Vine is leaving), as he already thinks Vines movement is unpredictable and doesnt know if Vine will just left hook him, guy would still have been annoyed, but thats life.
it only turns into an argument like that, firstly because the traffic blocks them up together, but also because Vine is choosing to extend the debate about it imo, no doubt as alot of his cycling videos end up as, for sharing content reasons, unless he really is that much of a tedious bore in real life.
and yeah if that had happened to him, youd absolutely bet he'd have been all over it as a major cycling safety fail.
also I do think for someone who commutes on UK roads alot, he gets triggered by the smallest things, and repeatedly so, which most of us commuters have long since just accepted is part of the deal of riding on UK roads in rush hours and dont even react to, Id be posting near constantly in the commuting thread if I took his level of offence at the driving standards I see on the roads, I tend to only cover the bits where it gets really dangerous for me and people are doing insane things, not pulling out 100-150 metres away from a side road on him.
