The guy (David Lindon) who's organising it is clearly a Viz fan, as this quote hilariously demonstrates:

I listened to the Today programme for about 15 minutes once. I felt like I was being lobotomised so haven't bothered with it since.

Surely it has to be the barn owl. It is found not only across the Island but in many books, novels and movies. And wise as.
