True, better that kids want to be astronauts than dream of being on X Factor.



Anyway, they're only 250 miles away, I've driven the company van more than 250 miles in a day but nobody waved flags for me.
He didn't even drive the van.

I think all the expense, hard work and wall to wall coverage was worth it just to see his son's reaction when he took off.

The thought of Sting practicing his Tantric yoga in zero gravity makes me somewhat queasy.

Major Peake is the first official British Astronaut, not nominally working for NASA, ESA, or the Russki one like the other British citizens and British-born before him.
Selected by ESA in 2009. Travelled ontp Space City in 2013, following the announcement by ESA, that he'd be spending six months on the space station.

The Russians currently being the only ones able to get crew members to & from the ISS.
