That's a perfectly normal cruising gear.


.... if you have 10" wheels. (It'd only be around 118" - high but just about usable - on a Brommie).

The only problem I can see is that the chain ring would probably be touching the ground!

Have a read about José Meiffret and have a butchers at his bike from 1962 with a 130T chainring
