Broke my duck!

Finally managed to get a short ride in this afternoon, the first of the year. Only 15 gentle miles but nice, sunny, smoooth tarmac , roll on Tuesday when I can restart commuting by bike again.

Broke my 2012 duck yesterday, after a fortnight laid up with a chest infection, managed to use some of my christmas goodies too just tootled about for an hr or so....but after getting that first ride under my belt and a shave/ shower afterward, ahhhhh no feeling quite like it, best medicine of all !!

I've had this week off work and have managed to get out almost every day, back to normal next week so the milage will fall dramatically.

Off for another week so no commuting since the 23rd of december, i am going crazy !!!

Should be the club run today and the wife said i could go but i think leaving her alone with a 4 year old a 5 day old and a healing c section might not be a good idea !
Got an exercise bike which is not as good as a turbo but at least i can get a spin in later .
