Got a tatty knee and tatty arms too and now a tatty shoulder and a wonky...the toe just adds to my status as orthopaedically challenged! But it's the one thing I can't blame on cycling, just clumsiness!! Thank God for private healthcare!

I've broken the big toe on my right foot.
No cycling for me at the moment. Too bloody painful!
Or, i could just man up a bit!
Ouch. I've broken a few several times. Not nice. Rest it for a bit

Agreed!! I did the silent screaming thing, whilst hopping on one foot - not easy for me as I have dyspraxia and my balance is rubbish
When I found my voice, the language could have easily been at home in a barrack room!!

I broke my heel some years ago, my lads learnt an awful lot of new words that night.

Fast and careful!
5 years ago I snapped my little toe in a green stick closed fracture it was literally at a right angle ,at reception at the hospital they said we don't do any thing for broken toes ,I then had to explain that I could not get my shoe on,
The doctor then took over ,a few gulps of entonox,I was lifted to planet ga ga he got his bic pen and pushed it straight, got some zinc oxide tape and tethered to my next toe, happy days went straight back to work, the main cause was my foot had spread due to not wearing any thing on my feet for a fortnight beach holiday, and stubbed it on a plant pot while dealing with the grass on my return

I once broke my little toe on my right foot. I did it walking into our dining room and tripping over my Father's shoe.. which he'd just thrown into the centre or the floor like a lazy teen.. The pain was so intense that I couldnt even speak for about 5 minutes after I felt it snap.

I swear I broke (or at least very badly bruised) one of my toes, it was agony to walk on for the first couple of days, and took months to fully stop hurting. I cycled the day after and that was fine, fortunately I put the other foot down when stopping. I did get some funny looks hobbling along pushing the bike down the one way street though
