Sadly a lot of people are allergic to reversing into parking spaces that allow you to do that!

It is easy to check your lights. Easier in the winter, you just park up making sure there is something in front and behind you, then check indicators, brakes, side lights etc. by checking if the illuminate whatever you have parked near.

I had a vw polo 96 model and the rear brake light kept on blowing especially the one on the right. It's just a common fault on that model but it did take me 4 attempts before the lightbulb didn't blow again .

If you can't get someone to check your brake lights for you, go to your local halfords as they have mirror windows.

I find it a pain in the arse myself. I always carry spare bulbs in the boot now as for some reason my drivers side rear brake light frequently blows. The first couple of times work colleagues who were following me in told me. Now I check every couple of months just to make sure.

There are a few cars that run around with their rear fog lights on:wacko: I told this one guy and he had them on and the switch for them was out the way.
Other people just give me blank looks.
