My year started very well indeed with a 55 mile ride in quite tough conditions around the Bowland Fells, doing what I like best, which is using the bike to get out into some proper countryside.

If I can manage a ride of this quality every weekend I will be very happy.

I'm dropping the car in for a new ABS ring (CV joint) tomorrow. Think the garage might have a shock when a road bike appears fully assembled out of the boot !
