Broken spin bike again, grrrrrrr.

So, get stretched, load the sufferfest vid, fill drinks bottle and for the second time in four months of having it from new, the spin bike breaks again, same way as before except with more washers vomiting forth from it.

Really blimming peeved at it and missing a decent session today

Btw the bike is a Nordictrack gx 5.1, avoid them like the plague, utter sh1te, albeit with decent customer service which arranged a quick repair last time, but just not fit for purpose.

I'm not ringing their freaking call centre in Thailand every two months as the fecking thing breaks down, aaaaarrrgh.

On the plus side, I got a bargain on a turbo from wiggle for use while I'm waiting for Nordictrack to come and haul their sh1te out of my living room.

And now I can go to the turbo session with my new club each week .

I have the recumbent Nordic Track, and it is very nice. Not built for really tough workouts, though, what with the coffee holder and sound system.

Put it this way, the first time it broke they arranged for a local specialist engineer to come out and fix it.
His remarks on the brand were along the lines of poo from china, whilst shaking his head.
Although it seemed he made his fair share of money fixing the bikes.

I'd certainly look for another brand, my experience has been sh1te.

Although saying that, 'a friend' is selling a nordic track spin bike locally, recently professionally refurbed. Yours for a hundred notes if your interested... Errr, I mean that's what he said when I spoke to him

Tbh, I think some of the actual spinner branded ones in the same price bracket are leagues ahead in terms of quality.
