I suffered a broken spoke on my rear wheel today. Thankfully it happened not far from home and I made it home okay. I bought the bike last May since which it’s done approx 1650 miles. My question is, is this covered by warranty?

not after 1650 miles no. Spokes are essentially consumables and a cheap fix

But I recommend you nevertheless go to your LBS and ask them to true and tighten your wheel. The best place to buy a 'normal' spoke is a good LBS, provided you know the length.
This should not happen in a well built wheel (but you share no detail).
If a second spoke breaks thereafter you need to identify why.
You imply it's a new bike. How many spokes?

That’s kind of what I thought. Where is the best place to buy them online?
As above..lGo to LBS, get them to fit one and check and true the wheel. Think I paid £20 last time I needed such done.
It‘s not a very new bike at a year old and 1650 miles

To the LBS with you. If you rode it home, simply replacing the busted one will not be the end of it… may well need some re tensioning to a certain degree and if you don’t know what you are doing this will be a challenge.

Perhaps you've been doing too much of this:

The spoke has come off at the hub but is otherwise intact.
Is it one of those "J" hooked spokes at the hub end?
If it has come off, you could have a problem with the hub?
Or it just wasn't fitted correctly Or an unlucky bump in the road, caused a bit of flex?

You might be able to slacken it off and put back in place then re-tighten?

If in doubt - back to the LBS - also ask for some extra spokes as spares.
