I will be riding to Newhaven this Sunday. We will leave Bromley South station at 7.50. This will be a briskly paced ride (15-16 mph avg). It is 51 miles to Newhaven, where we will stopping for something to eat. At that point you could catch the train home, or ride back. The weather forecast is for a dry day:smile:

I might ride the new bike on this. Don't have lights though. Might need to buy something, if only for the last bit of the ride back

I don't go near Bromley if I can help it. I have been run over twice and knocked off my bike once all in Bromley High St.
The residents of Bromley......... no I'll leave it alone after all.

Just been preparing the route to put on my Garmin. Tim, there's a couple of places where we appear to disappear cross-country, are these vagaries of the map or cycle paths? If they are cycle paths, I assume I'll be ok on 23s?

I will double check the route today, definitely trying to stick to roads, so 23s will be fine

It may just be the vagaries of RidewithGPS. On my setup, around Lewes, we leave the A275 onto the A2029 then skip a little bit onto Gundedra Road. Then a little further SW just after Lewes Womens Rugby club we head off into the middle of nowhere.

I'm really looking forward to this, my first 100 miler since LEL!!!
