So it could just be AI generated horse shoot then?
No, it's not... I find it comical that you assume so.
Was wondering the same myself - too sketchy a story really.
A brompton frame failure is too "sketchy"? There has been brompton frame failures in the past...
I don't think its AI, although theres no waymof really telling, but the real story behind it is unknown. A car could have reversed over it for all we know.
Brompton has, apparently, begun an investigation. I remember when Tern blamed the riders for their bike failures, do any of you? There was no fanboy, brand loyalists crying wolf then, was there? Let the investigation be done. Could it have been someone improperly abusing the bike, doing stunts? Maybe... But it could also be a legitimate frame failure, due to a faulty design - which has happened before. Brompton isn't infallible and has been more than willing to do the right thing. But this is now "AI"? That's HILARIOUS!!!

EDIT: Looking at the first picture, I would think the person was using the bike to jump with. Hopefully the investigation will, eventually, get to the bottom of this.

You seem to be implying that failures of the G-Line are a common occurrence. Can you back that up with any real evidence?

I don't use facebook, and will not be avidly following the frame failure started in your thread.

If I didn't know any different, I'd say you hold a particular grudge against Brompton, for whatever reason.

As this came off of Fark bark with really no idea what may have really happened, last night's ride went without even a slight worry about frame failure. Maybe I could check Bromptons website....oh wait don't care that much.

Well, that settles in. If an internet PEON who lives in his Mum's attic bedroom says its a flaw then it must be.

In my experiemce the biggest problem with the G Line is that its a lot of money for a frankly mediocre ride. Being tall and heavy I had high hopes it was finally the B for me, but its decidedly meh for an hilarious asking price. Even Brompton seemmto tacitly admit this by offering the G now with a more road biased tyre option, which doesnt liven the ride up by much and doesnt address the price-to-product ratio.

I changed out the stock monster truck tyres for 20x1.6 Continental Contact Urban not the 2" + monsters Brompton specify. The difference is considerable. I'll post a review/assessment after the 500 mile mark.
