I really rate their Team Pro and also have a B17 on my other bike. Didn't really get on with the Swift, which I sold on.

While I like the aesthetic of some, personally I've never got on with them and thing they're over-priced and over-marketed..

Mine is from November 1987 ,£21 just looked might get 30-65,no chance not selling,it's nearly broken in.

I had a couple of Team Pros for decades until they finally became to saggy. I tried a new one but Brooks seemed to be going through a quality control problem then. So I ended up with Gilles Berthoud saddles, which are as near perfect as can be (for me - your arse may differ).

They mould to your shape over time. Mine fitted right off - I must have a Brooks shaped backside :-)

So I've heard; although I didn't find that myself while it didn't have the range of adjustment to get it far enough back to be anywhere near suitable.. so was a non-starter.

I really really really tried to get on with my Brooks Leather saddle but in the end realised it wasn't compatible with my bum. Switched it for a B17 Cambium and that was comfortable from the off.

Have a B17 on my Ridgeback World Panorama tourer. Saddle is "ok" for comfort but not any better than Charge Spoons and Selle Italia C2's on other bikes.

My biggest gripe with it is the width of the rails. Completely useless for trying to use with a Carradice bagman support unless saddle is set at rearmost limit, which then spoils riding position. Even after changing to a seatpost with only 1cm setback, the clamp on the bagman won't fit on the B17 rails as they spread too wide towards the back of the saddle. So don't buy one if you intend to use a B17 in combination with the larger Carradice saddle bags!
