How do you record your Brownie Points?
I am assuming you all get them, both merits and demerits, my problem is
that the merits don't seem to register whereas the demerits never reach
their sell by date. I was wondering if you keep a chart or a spread sheet
and if they are of equal value, I mean is doing the dishes canceled out by
a muddy footprint, for instance?

I have never really thought about it, but if you want an answer, why don't you ask Billy?:

Recording Brownie points is a pointless exercise as it's negated by:

'The good that I do is never remembered. The bad that I do is never forgotten'

Once that mantra is mastered then you can do as you please because it's ameliorated by:

'It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission'

Because the resounding "No!" has equal weighting.

Hmmm Mr Summerdays manages to score lots of muddy footprint points:rolleyes: but luckily he also gets the clear up the kitchen after a really messy person cooks points...

However many BPs you accumulate, somehow they have been devalued by the time you come to draw on the a/c, so there's never much (if any) of a balance.

Thought I'd accumulate a few by compiling a really scenic walk near the Longmynd yesterday - beautiful countryside, beautiful weather. SWMBO agreed that the views were excellent but the uphill walk was too much "You know I don't like long uphill walks.......". The half of Three Tuns in Wentnor seemed disappear fairly quickly though, even if it was declared "Too bitter". Can't win.
