shorts long sleeved top, windproof jacket and semi fingerless gloves. was a tad breezy which made me feel colder on top. legs were lovely and warm even in shorts, although that may be the extra one way equivalent trip i made as i forgot the pass and realised a bit into the journey.

Am about to leave for work and haven't a clue what to wear today, one minute it's raining, then it's sunny, strong winds and heavy showers forecast for my return tonight

I'll definitely be in full finger gloves and long sleeves, maybe my shower-proof pants rather than the full on wet gear.
Be glad when it gets colder, at least then I know what to expect.

Oh, and my 'wet' bike is out of action after last nights 'off' so I have to use the road bike until I get chance to give it a good check over

leggings and light jacket were fine today - but i wanted full gloves, fingers very cold in my half-gloves. RainLegs on as it was raining when I set off, but as usual, it petered out, and I was left too hot.

Definetly a cold nip in the wind.

It was blooming cold this morning for my 7:45am set off. Unfortunately my Aldi compression top was in the wash so it was just my bib shorts, ss jersey and Endura pak-a-jak with Aldi winter gloves. After my 25 minute commute my legs were freezing to the touch but otherwise fine, no sweat (makes a change) and hands were near numb. I suffer from cold hands and feet normally anyway but thought the winter gloves would help but didn't. Definitely been the coldest riding morning for me since starting at the start of August.

The outlook for the ride home is looking good though as the sun is out but it's just very windy from what I can see out the window.

Full length gloves for the first time today. Might give the LS top a whirl tomorrow as well. Gonna stick with 3/4 tights for the moment though.

Are these Karrimor jackets worth a shout? I've seen them in Sports Direct but held back from buying em as I still have a Ron Hill jacket which is aaaaages old but does the job, just. I do need to upgrade though.

Not really. Low breathability, cheap quality.

I have one in orange, which is OK as long as it is cold enough to prevent sweating.

I agree with this.

I have one, its my back up jacket which I leave at work in case I need it to ride home.

Its a boil in the bag type jacket

My main jacket is a Night Vision Evo which was 5 times more expensive and 5 times better.
