This'll be my first winter on the bike. I use Conti Sport Contact slicks on my MTB. When should I be looking to put the nobblies back on?

When you are actually going to be riding on fresh snow, otherwise knobblies give less grip on the road that your Contis.

long finger thin fleecy gloves from decathlon on today , lovely ride in and was apparently colder than yesterday. secret is warm fingers i think.

Second day back in the saddle after three weeks off.
Long sleve running top, arm warmers, montane featherweight top, skull cap under the lid and winter longs and long finger aldi gloves....I was leaking sweat.

Come January that merino top will to a treat now I've washed it a few times it isnt so itchy!

got some long fingered gloves, hands are now toasty and its a nice ride in the cool air now.
was warmer today mind, 9.8°C where it was 4°C yesterday.
supposed to be cold next week mind so i'm actually considering my thermal top!

Gee and i thought it was getting cold at 15c in a morning here in Southern Spain.

Im quite liking the fact that I can now cycle at a reasonable pace to work without worrying about being too sweaty.

Cycling to work when its 25c outside isnt fun when there are no showers when you get there. At least its only 3 miles and all flat
