BRVR - Goats League - Climb 14 - St Gotthard Pass

Featuring in several, absolutely brilliant films, is this weeks climb in Switzerland of the St Gotthard pass. It's a difficult time to be picking rides in that 'dead mans zone' between the Dauphine and Le tour, So I decided to stay in Switzerland, in honor of the Tour de Suisse.

16.16Km and 920m of ascent, a final 3-4Km downhill section will suit the speed merchants if you have anything left in the legs

Tried to keep it steady at @280W, which succeeded. I'm quite far off the pace of course, That should be better in a few weeks.

That's a lovely little number that is and, as it 'appens, one I've done before. Fortunately I managed to increase my avg power and my watt/kg and decrease my time.

well, as it's cooled off here, I decided to attempt the St Gottard ... Overheated really struggled at 12Km, nothing left for the descent, so just 58:55 for me

Nurofen pass is going to be hell
