Bryton Rider 20

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone else had issues with the dates of the rides recorded by brytons? I use a rider 20 but I suppose they can't be too different...

I went for a ride yesterday and when I downloaded it to the computer, it was dated back to 2010!! I assume the date should be the same as the local GPS's providing info to the device, right? Because I looked everywhere and I can't seem to put the date right, only the time... But then again, if the GPS date was wrong, it would have provided a wrong date to my boyfriends garmin too, which it didn't...

Any tips / suggestions...?

If the times, date and month are correct, open either the bdx file or the tcx file which ever you download, use a text editor with a search and replace (firstobject this is a good one providing your using a pc) enter >2010 as the search and >2014 as the replacement include the chevron this helps identify its the year, do the first few manually once satisfied it's only changing the year string, do it for all automatically, back up the original file first though, any further problems let me and I will do it for you, it will only take a few mins.

Thanks a lot, I'll keep this for future reference but it seems to be working fine now. Only thing I did was reset the device - not sure if that's what put it right but... Something worked
