Thanks all, it's great when you start to get some consistent advice, went into the store, they demo'd the system and I paid. Stretched the Budget, but sooo worth it. It'll blow her mind!

Would like to point out that I first mentioned the Denon

I just use a bog standard cd/radio system, with speakers from an old hifi, and a bluetooth receiver I got off Amazon for a fiver, and bluetooth my phone/spotify to it. Works a treat for us. I hardly ever use the cd, but Mrs F does.

This Cambridge Audio G2 £99 at Richer Sounds is by far my best buy this year , no ok my second after my Ridgeback but a very close second.

It's a brilliant little wireless bluetooth speaker with excellent sound quality, great portability, comes with its own little travel bag and a great range of colours. I love it and have just bought two more as they can be paired.

I've been looking for something like this, and now it's down to £80 I'm tempted even more. I like the cream colour one, got a retro look about it.

I got the gold one which is very smart and now you have told me its been reduced im off to get another. They really are fab.

Small, pretty, sonically excellent and only a little above your budget. USB + Digital input, superb speakers - a brilliant piece of equipment
