Used to be a drawing board, a book of standard tables and a lot of pencil chewing. Some folk think we just show a set of plans to the computer now and it does all the work. There's still a bit of timber engineering knowledge required.

Last I heard was that BC aren't interested - it's easier to keep the setup confined to Manchester.
It should boost the appeal of track cycling in the South East and East Anglia though.
