I've not had this before. Earlier this evening I exited Schiphol Airport, and while waiting at the kerb for my hotel transfer I see a stupidly tall, nordic looking lad lugging a bike bag on wheels. I looked at the bike bag, as cyclists will do, and then noticed he also had a hard suitcase branded "Giant Alpecin". On the top was a name tape, Tobias Ludvigsson.
It was this Tobias Ludvigssson:

I sneaked a picture of his bags, because at the time I had no idea who he might be. He'd come in from Stockholm. You can see his name graphics on the top of his case.

Has anyone else run into a fairly obscure pro rider on the street? And does anyone have a less impressive photo record of that meeting?

And do pro riders really have to carry around their own bike? I thought the team would shift bikes around.

Ok.

I don't know much about Cinco de Mayo
One of the Yates brothers at the tea rooms Heptonstall, West Yorkshire. A great place to have a stop in a wonderful (and testing) area for cycling.

I think it was 2014. No I don't remember which one, but the names were on the bikes and I thought it was pretty cool, but I didn't want to bother him.

Edit: I see that OP asked specifically for more obscure sightings, sorry. In my defense this was before Adam and Simon broke big in Le Tour.
