Burnt out cars LONDON

In answer to an earlier post, they get home by either nicking another car straight away or the drive round in pairs until one car runs out of fuel then they dump and burn it.
If you want to know where the burnt out cars are you could try talking to a couple of Firefighters as they usually have to go and put the cars out and they will know where the most inacsessible ones are.
A note of caution if you didn't already know. Do not under any circumstanes be tempted to touch a burnt out car as they are heavily contaminated with some very nasty chemicals including strong acids  which cannot be removed by washing.

From other cities I've found that joyriders quite often steal them in the inner city and torch them in the middle of nowhere. How do they get home after they've torched the car

Perhaps they are all cyclists !

There was one a few weeks back in the City Road area, somewhere like Taplow Street

Otherwise try near the railway lines in Feltham

Last time I looked from the train, there was a great burnt out one up on bricks close to the Tarling Street Estate (Shadwell/Whitechapel). Take a cycle round the rectangle in the attached map which has the boundaries Commercial Road/Cannon Street Road/Cable Street/Butcher Row and you're bound to find it. It was on waste ground near the secondary school shown on the map.

Used to be a time when you could just go to Blackbird Leys in Oxford and see a few getting burnt every night....

Thanks everyone! I'm going to check out the Shadwell one... when was the last time you saw it?

Checked in Feltham, apparently the army came and took them all away
