He has sadly died aged 82. One of a kind. Always remember him for his performance in Deliverance.
Later on in his career, it was interesting that in '
Hooper', during a scene at Hoopers house, where they were watching old stunt footage, that one segment was of the rapids canoe from
'Deliverance'
