Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you today concerning the driving standards and ability of some of your so called 'bus drivers'. I commute to school and back every day by bicycle and part of my route is along the A28 road Ashford, kent. This is also part of the regular route your number 2 bus takes.

I have on several occasions had your buses pass me much closer than they should but so far I have not felt them brush the hairs on my (rather un-hairy) arm..... until today! At approximately 16:00 just past the 'Cinamon Lounge' restaurant heading towards Bethersden, Ashford heading away from High Halden and Tenterden.
I was riding a a strong primary road positioning but would have happily moved into a normal secondary position when I felt it was safe for your bus to overtake. Instead the 'skilled and trained driver' of said bus completely ignored my existence and instead simply ploughed on forcing me to the edge of the road whilst brushing the hairs on my right arm whilst also almost hitting oncoming traffic in the other lane.

Had I been on a motorcycle I would have caught up with him at the next stop which I know exactly where it is and had rather stern/obscene words with him where as as I was only on a push bike these obscene words were shouted to no avail.

My suggestion would be to check your computerised technology records to find out who was driving said vehicle at time and discipline as far as possible.

'Dear Mr@young ed

Thank you for your email concerning the standard of driving from my staff whilst you were cycling.

I have noted the date and time of the incident and I will be making arrangements to ascertain who was driving the bus on the day/time in question. I will then be carrying out a formal meeting where appropriate action will be taken. All my drivers hold a professional licence and I expect them to drive to the same professional standard. I have passed you email onto Folkestone Depot who also drive this route for future reference.

Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Yours sincerely

'Thank you greatly for your professional response to this serious situation, I understand that all your drivers hold valid licences and are trained as I know many HGV, lorry and bus drivers my self and am a tractor driver myself and regularly see poor driving despite extensive training and qualifications.
I would greatly appreciate updates via email as to how this case is dealt with and your response to my complaint.
Regards
Mr. @young Ed '

of course where there are stars it is the name of various people in the stagecoach bus company and where there is @young Ed there is of course my real name

Oh well done Ed, good responses. I'm particularly pleased, as a local myself.
