Has anyone noticed that the size of most packs of butter are now 225 grams rather than 250 grams. Is this a government plot to try and reduce the nations cholesterol or just another rip off.
Probably just another case of shrinkflation where the price stays the same, but the pack size reduces. Some butters such as Anchor are down to 200 grams from 250 grams.

IME pretty much everything's been battered down to 200g; last man standing was Kerrygold at 250g. It's a bit cheaper if you buy the 500g block (again, fair play to them for offering something larger / better value) although this can be a bit of a swine to store...
