What size are you? Mr R will have a T-100 Shimano Nexus 8-Speed (V-Brake) coming up for grabs in a month or two. 57cm frame.
It's a bit small for me - my current bike has a 61cm frame (24 inch) and I have the seat-post near the max.

My bike is not rare but its less common and I like that. When I did Ride London in the summer I saw one other frame the same as mine. My friend who done it with me had a relatively common bike. Give them due they (the organisers) sorted him out quickly but his bike was nicked from their 'secure' bike park and mine right next to it was untouched. Had his bike been chosen out of thousands because it was relatively common

Most riders go mainstream now. Back in the days of steel frames almost every lightweight shop either made or had frames made with their own name on them. Welding steel tubes together was fairly cheap, whereas carbon fibre requires expensive tooling way beyond the price a small shop could bear. In a road race field of forty riders you could find perhaps thirty five different brands of frame.

Here for rides.
My old Surosa was very obscure in SE England but I saw several in Manchester. Didn't stop me riding 1000's of kms on it, including LonJoG.

They've closed now.

Never seen another Jamis on the road in the flesh. But I bought it from Evans so it must be ok, right? ;)
