Buzzed this morning, grey new shape mini, Bromsgrove

Heading north on the a38 just passed Aldi.

Hear a car approach from behind and just as he's about level he drops to second gear so his engine screams from his "Bad Boi" exhaust and he passed me at about 40 with litterally millimeteres to spare.

Although it did appear that he didn't expect to be immediatly greeted by a red light as he turned the corner but the right filter lane was green, it looked like he dived down the right filter lane at the last second as I would have caught him up if he'd have stopped at the lights.

He was alone so wasn't trying to show off to anyone, I don't get it?

Idiot.

To be pedantic, every pass is with literally millimetres to spare.
Sometimes it's tens of millimetres, sometimes a thousand or more!

I find those idiots look at me immediately from their rear view mirror expecting me to protest or gesticulate. I carry on riding as if nowt happened. It's a bit of an anti-climax for them.

3 little cars that spring to mind as close passers are the new mini, the BMW110 (?) and the VW Polo. I'm sure that in the case of the new mini, the driver knows nothing about cars and takes the name literally - it's actually quite wide.

This is the second post about Mini drivers in as many days, I'd like to assure you as a Mini driver myself, we're not all like that.

Some silly boy shouted (screamed really) at me from the passenger seat of an overtaking car yesterday. He did it to scare me or make me wobble I think so that he and his mate could have a laugh. The perplexing thing is that I think he shouted "nigger". I completely ignored him. If I get time and can be bothered I will check my camera footage tomorrow and post it if it's OK.

Boy racers. The chap that was knocked off in front of me this week was telling me about an incident a couple of weeks earlier - same stretch. Two blokes racing each other off from the lights, neither would give way, which caused one of the cars to brush the side of this guy. He caught them up, the driver's wife said - "sorry he did wrong", but the driver then started mouthing off - so calmly the cyclist says your 'pride is so big you can't not let someone get in front, then you nearly run someone down in the process' - the driver shut up.

Thomk.. thats a Section 5 offence. If you have camera footage and the index number of the car, report it. Doesn't matter if you can't make out what he shouted. However if he did shout Ni99er then thats racially aggravated Section 5. Doesn't matter wether you are white black or sky blue with pink spots!

I got shouted at on the way home from work yesterday. Blue corsa, 4 on board. Young female driver, young male chav in front passenger seat.

I've no idea what they said, it was one of those that sounded like "yyyoouggnnhhhhnnnabbbbteeeggkonnaayingg" as they go past.

Once they had got past, I noticed the somewhat inevitable "Pull back, Princess on Board" signs in the rear window...

Sad to say that I have no footage as the camera was not working, out of juice I think. This is the second time something like this has happened, the first involving a airhorn (twice by the same person on one stretch of road).
