Well, he traded it in for another one, as it was still under warranty.@Pat "5mph" Are you now fixing that Halfrauds one that doesn't work ???
He promptly crashed the new bike, don't know the details as I got told in passing while we were both riding in opposite directions.

I am now wishing that I had taken that old Puch Alpine which I got on fleabay and thrown it in a skip round the corner from Pat's gaff.
I could have then gone back a few months later and given her some sob story about having to do a 6 mile commute without having a working bike.
Instead I spent too much time and money doing the renovation myself.

Now the new bike wasn't working either - he bought it from Halfords, could not get them to fix it, needs to commute 6 miles twice a day.
Of course I gave him Magnum back
You should have put pink tassels on the ends of the handlebars - and insisted that he keep them!
