C and D drive on laptop?

Genuine question:

Are they free from snooping, or would you simply not store anything sensitive on an online backup service.

I don't encrypt anything I store "in the cloud" but then nor do I store anything there that could be put to use against me; so no credit card details or passwords and the like.

I tend to assume it is safe but I am not blase.
 
My netbook has two drives c and d, c is down to it's last 12gb now so wasn't sure what would happen once it fills up, thought things would automatically start saving to d.

No.
It stops working.
Every time your pc starts up it creates a selection of temporary files and if the drive is full it can't do that.
Never let your main drive go over 70% full as by that point you're heading for a full drive.
