C2C Challenge 2009!

Come and join us on July 11 & 12 this year for the C2C Challenge, the first ever mass ride in Britain’s most popular route in aid of Help for Heroes.
Over 150 people have signed up so far to cycle the 140 miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland through the spectacular scenery of the Lake District and Pennines by bicycle. £50 entry fee – we take you to the start, carry your bags, arrange the overnight camp at Alston. I found it tough doing it in 4 days. I hope the 150 that have signed up so far are serious cyclists, otherwise you'll be taking a lot more than baggage back from Alston (if they get that far)
