C2w - "On-One" - ideas ?

Got my voucher changed to On-One now

Looking for ideas- voucher is for £900

Bike will be used for winter, canal tow path commuting , I'd like the option of a rack and not too flashy so I can lock it up outside shops and not crap myself !

My thought are

SS pompino , will it take wide studded tyres?

SS MTB

Hub geared pompatine (sp)

Or something else ?

Winter, canal path, On One...

I currently do my commute, canal path etc., on a steel On One frame single speed cyclo-cross - works brilliantly. Less maintenance hassles, less to rust.

i have pompino and love it.i did 40 miles on leeds liverpool canal other day with 32mm tyres. i built my own and so far cost 470 inc brooks bar tape on charge spit riser bars. dont get canti's they're shite.v's are superior.

If you hang on a couple of weeks On-one are bringing out a Kaffenback/Pompetamine whatever with their "swap outs" so you can fit discs, cantis, hub gears, or derailleurs. Same as the Inbred.
