got two really long cable ties last night off BHF's sign advertising their ripoff Manchester-Blackpool night ride - well it was on 18th September. I binned the sign itself. Well it was partially blocking the view down the M6 J29 off-ramp. A police car went past as I was blatently taking the sign down but they said nothing.

Oops ... I "lost" a 20' long steel shaft off a flatbed on a roundabout once and that was bad enough ...

The lady who reads the Look North breakfast news, weather and travel, always refers to a shedload of X or Y on the motorway, not a shed load. I always just have visions of a huge amount of stuff, not stuff all over the road...

Everyone else is talking about using them to bodge, and you're using them to tie cables! Cheat!
