Tried a search but couldn't find the answer to this.
I have a Tacx Vortex and the Tacx utility app on my iPhone. If I use the Tacx app to calibrate the trainer and then connect to Zwift should I then calibrate using the Zwift calibration option on the connection screen as well?
Up to now I have done both calibrations but yesterday I only used the Tacx app and then just connected to Zwift and started a group ride. It seemed to me that I was putting out a bit more power and was rewarded by Zwift with a 'FTP increase detected' from 200 to 209W. Is it likely that I'm now a Zwift doper or is the power calculation more accurate this way? Obviously I hope it is the latter.
