dab of Vaseline should do it as wellBIG TIP: (unless you already have done this) ........ Take them off and pop some grease on the threads of the valve (preferably copper grease) because within a few weeks the alloy will corrode to the valve and they wont come off .... (I speak from car valve experience here.......)

That's really interesting stuff vernon, thanks.Woodrups built bikes for the Bantel Team and a member of the team won at least one World Pursuit Championship on a Woodrup built frame. The business goes back to 1947. Kevin Sayles is their frame builder having worked for them from the seventies with an eleven year break when he built frames for Thorn Cycles
