I dunno, some dynamo lights were pretty bright for about an hour til the bulb went (or you had to stop)

These programmes are all about drama, reality does not come into it!

Take Casualty...

There was the Nurse who laid in the CT Scanner with the patient!

Never mind the illegality it caused us all sorts of issues where parents wanted to do the same!

... and of course the fact that all the nurses carry out the CT scans

.. or the one where a fractured cervical spine was diagnosed from a foot Xray

I usually turn off in the first scene when Mum tells Billy that she hopes he isn't going to fly that kite in the field of the old
armaments factory with the electricity pylons in it.

I get thrown out of the room!

Being able to spot the plot line in the first episode annoys my wife.

Classic was the episode with the Doctor and his wife having problems conceiving

I predicted an affair, the wife becoming pregnant and then the whole thing descending into a nasty separation............... Guess what!

Ha! I feel your pain! Telly programmes don't do health workers any favours. I want to throw a brick at the telly any time there's a hospital drama on!

On a more serious note.....

A few years ago the Hospital I worked at produced leaflets about the reality of CPR and resuscitation

So many relatives were assuming that the process was virtually infallible that they could not understand why the Hospital was not able to meet the standards of the TV programmes
