I built an Airfix version as a kid, nowhere near as big as that though

I did in the 70's. This one is by Dragon & stands about five feet tall. It does come apart in stages, plus there is a wee lunar module going in the transparent bit. Fiddly to get straight black lines on some of the body since its ridged...masking tape didn't sit well, got a bit of paint bleed. I should have it done by July (the photo is several weeks old). Now...where can I display it??.

Mine met the same fate as all my Airfix models, blown to smithereens when I decided airguns were the next cool toy
