Calling Mobile Number Issue

If I try to call a mobile number starting 07788 from my work mobile or my home landline, I get a 'Number not in use' message. But if i dial the number from my personal mobile (O2), it rings OK.

Anyone know what causes this?

07788 numbers are bought specifically for being memorable, like personalised number plates. 'Golden numbers' apparently, but no idea why any particular network should not be able to call them.

I'd ask your telephone company as it sounds a bit wrong to me.
