Was it staged to get him in the news? Who locks their bike to a 2ft high bollard? Cameron going into Tesco shopping on his way home, really? Surely he has somebody do such mundane things for him.

Maybe he can choose another bike from the "John Lewis" list!

Locked it to a 2ft Bollard - jesus christ what an idiot. I thought he would have an escort wherever he went anyway. Where was the rangerover to carry his shopping home?

Well i do see bikes badly locked up at railway stations all the time as people dont lock the wheels up but it looks like he went one step further.

A policy I assume they will follow through for 'ordinary' victims in future?

Seems like it turned up in a nearby alleyway, sans one wheel.

Whats the bet he didn't even lock it to the bollard, but rather just locked the bike to itself?
