Older PT need a special (i.e. expensive) tool to remove cranks, latest are self extracting. UT is straightforward. UT, which is usually on the higher end kit, allows rider to sweep across a number of sprockets, PT is one click at a time. All Campag stuff needs Campag shaped tools and consumables, but not especially expensive ones. I would avoid Veloce, preferably go for Potenza or above. AFAIK, Potenza and below are made in Romania, Chorus & Record in Italy. My Chorus levers and mechs are perhaps due for a service after +20 years of solid use, but that's usually a specialist job.
I use Tifosi BB (Square taper is different to Shimano taper). Cartridge is fine, lasts for ages and no maintenance.

If you did want the power torque and want the (excellent) tool to maintain it I have one which I no longer need as no Campagnolo stuff to deal with now. PM me if interested
Bit worried bout wear on bearings...like movement vertically on the crank.
Thanks for the insight though I'll have a look just didn't want too much shimono and there's not a brit make that I know of.
Is there a top shop to look for campag kit I'm just looking around and nobody specialises here that I know of...???

Last 'Brit' derailleur was made in 1963 by Cyclo-Benelux Sport, not even good for it's day.
Condor have a very extensive stock and knowledge of Campag stuff. Not cheap, but they probably have everything. Campag is only worth the effort if you are willing to pay for the top line stuff, have some knowledge of their product range, and a good level of workshop skill. Most LBS don't stock it and don't have much experience of working with it.
If you don't have a good very good reason for Campag, just get Shimano 105/GRX.

Triton Cycles have given me the best service of all I've tried. They have a lot of Campag stock. I don't know if they have what you are looking for though.

UT came first - there were a lot of negative reviews of PT when that came out so I have never bothered with it.
For UT you need the cups(with wavy washer) and the cranks with bearings fitted. The bearings are not bad at all -esp the ceramic cult ones - and last a long time.
You do need a bearing extraction device to remove the bearings when they are shot. These are quite pricey - although you can instead google "bearing puller" and you get a 3 legged device for under £10 and all you need do is file the tips of the legs down so that the lip fits under the bearing.
