More wheels than sense
It just goes to show that if a company makes up a story about an unnamed person being offended it will now garner more social media (yes this place is ) posts and clicks than all but the best marketing campaigns

You'd have no problems if they called it "Big Mummy's Steak"?
Personally neither gives me problems particularly.

Both seem a bit silly tbh, but it's got attention, and there's no such thing as bad publicity apparently.

And it's given an opportunity to bash the snowflakes / oversensitive / pc gawn madders - via that august journalistic outlet known as 'The Lad Bible' 🙄
So everyone's a winner !!

What is quite interesting though, is the gender difference in connotations between
'Big Daddy' versus 'Big Mummy'

🤔

Land crabs are quite popular here but I find they are not as tasty as there seaborne relatives.

Yes, 'culturally appropriate' foods are just that .
Particular to an area.

We like to think we're everso rational about what we will, or won't eat, but t'isnt so really is it??

It's framed by social norms, as much as taste or nutrition.

Herbivore beef steak ? No problem - for the meat eaters .

But herbivore horse steak??

Zut alors !!
(in Britain at any rate 🙄)

Although you're average horse, over here at least, has probably had a better diet and life than your average bovine.
