I'm trying to trace a commercial vehicle after a brief encounter tonight that scared me . Some background...it's 9:25 pm and I'm waiting at this junction heading north towards Chelsea Bridge. I'm on Queenstown Road where it crosses Battersea Park Road. There are two lanes for going straight ahead, but only room for one car or lorry on the other side of the junction.

Here is a map/Streetview link...

There is hardly any traffic, and the lights are red. I'm on the inside of the left lane at the front of the queue with a lorry behind me, and a car to the lorry's right. The lights go green and I head off for a few yards towards the centre of the junction. The lorry comes past me at surprising speed leaving less than a foot between its side and my right shoulder and roars off towards the roundabout ahead. I can only imagine that the lorry driver was keen to get across the junction before the car.

I stopped and wrote down his reg. GN60 FDK. I was a bit shaken and may have got it wrong. The lorry was red/maroon and signed with what looked like a purple Cadburys chocolate logo on the side. I may have got that wrong too. The lorry itself was something like this one in size, maybe a bit bigger but not an artic. I don't know the make.

I'm quite used to London traffic and I couldn't honestly say that I thought that I was going get badly hurt. What really pissed me off was the sheer stupidity and thoughtlessness of his driving. For the first time ever, I'd like to report this so that someone can have a word in his ear before he hits somebody.

Sorry for rambling on, but if somebody can help me to track down the name of the lorry operator, I'd be really grateful.

Thank-you.

EDIT: Sorry, the pin on the map is not the location of the junction

I tried a few combinations on that registration with no joy using
http://www.motorcheck.ie/faq/does-it-have-valid-road-tax

If it was a Cadburys lorry they may have GPS tracking installed or at least an idea of which vehicle may have been in the area at the time.

It could possibly be this one, certainly the picture of one looks very similar to the one you linked, so far nothing else comes close.
Registration: GN09 FOK
Description: Iveco Eurocargo 75E16S
Body Type: BOX VAN
Colour: White

Thank-you very much BSRU. That looks like it could be the one. It wasn't white but that doesn't count for much. The lorry looked very much like that. Is there anyway of finding out who own it?

It may have been sold as white when new then painted in the company colours, although they are supposed to inform the DVLA of a change of colour, sometimes this does not happen.
