Charlotte Street Hotel is in Fitzrovia - not Covent Garden but still a central location- though i reckon you'd be better off with Covent Garden Hotel on Monmouth Street. I'm still right!

Leave your wife out of this - I'm talking about you!

I like them both so we'll see. Your one does edge it though i think!

How dare you mean me!!!!!!!!!

I have the face of an angel!

Monmouth street also has Monmouth Coffee (which is exceptional) and Coco de Mer (Which is Just as fun). I work about 50 metres from there. Our company stopped using the Covent Garden Hotel for visiting americans though.....i seem to remember something about rats

On a serious note, a friend of mine had her 45th birthday in The Soho Hotel which is part of the chain but slightly different in style - they seem to be ok.

I'd second Tollers on the Monmouth Coffee- good coffee and the Coco de Mer is fun place to look for underwear for ladies (didn't know you liked wearing women's underwear Tollers!) Covent Garden also has more boutique shops right on the doorstep if you wanted to get a shopping trip in.
