I ued to get my coffee in Monmouth Coffee in 1980s - tight fit though. I didn't think it was open on Sunday though?

mmm all this talk of monmouth coffee..I might cycle up there tommorow and get a coffee. Give me something to do!!

I think they're open on Sunday but can't be certain.
There's that muffin place on the 7 dials that does these ridiculously sweet and garishly decorated muffins - too much sugar but fun to look at.

Charlotte Street is quieter than Momouth Street if thats important to you - I can remember the bar being expensive, more than you'd think - even for London. (Cool premium on top of the usual F~ tax)

Bar was busy and didnt quite catch what he said, so bunged him a £20 - expecting "some" change

He just stood there and looked at me so I gave him another £10 and he gave me some change out of the £30, though not much

Bar price doenn't matter does it. You'll be in centre of town and be able to choose from several thousand different bars. There's something for every taste/wallet.

Sounds like most hotels of this ilk. £7/£8 for a G&T and £4/£5 for a pint

Cocktail menu is not as expensive as i thought it would be. Glasgow city centre Saturday night place prices.

Wine list's good as well.
