I have just bought a second hand Raleigh Compact folding bike with one pedal missing. I'm trying to source new pedals but I'm unsure of the exact size. Is it 9/16 or 1/2 inch? Anybody know?

Bound to be 9/16". 1/2" pedals are just used on BMX bikes with one-piece cranks IIRC.

Erm....if you buy 9/16" pedals, and they turn out to be 1/2 inch after all, do I lose the 'Like'??
