Spotted this lovely tree just now, near Newmarket High Street. I'm usually fairly OK at identifying tree spp. but not sure about this one.
It's pretty big, about the size of a mature horse chestnut- maybe 100ft or so. Pretty sue it's non-native, possibly Asian or N. American, perhaps a walnut type tree (though the 'fruit' kind of resembles ash keys), but that's about as far as I can guess. I suspect it's deciduous but looks still in full leaf. Any ideas?
