Can anyone make me some wooden milk bottles? Serious question.

My son has the opposite problem - he gains milk rather than having it nicked. He lives in a terraced house in Rusholme, Manchester. Some annoying sod buys/steals milk and then lobs the half drunk carton over the high wall into my son's yard. Their happens a couple of times a week.

We don't live right on the street like the victim but our front door is 30 feet away and we've had milk stolen a few times, even though the milkman delivers at about 5 am. I solved it by making a wooden box with a raising lid to hide the bottles from passers-by.

I’m the ‘victim’ in the story. Sadly there’s no chance of trying a lock box. A neighbour tried using one and it got stolen!

Could you screw a metal box to the wall and fit a lock, leaving it for the milkman to lock shut?

We need to find a shop that directly reuses milk bottles...

Yes! We used to do it with Corona!
