I've had a Batavus Alamo (Dutch tourer) for two years. It is an excellent all rounder, very fast on the flat and good on steep hills. Also a mere 19kg which one of my cycling colleagues thinks is surprisingly light. It came with panier rack, lights etc and needed no further expenditure.
